Curious Shiraz has steadily built a very strong following amongst our customers and the Blue Reef Chardonnay Verdelho from Mcpherson is a supreme example of the two aromatic grape varieties working hand in hand beautifully. If you'v not yet tried either of these wines then you must jump at this oppertunity to get them at such a low price.
This Blue Reef Chardonnay Verdelho is medium straw in colour with delightful fruit aromas of citrus, grapefruit with a slight hint of vanillin. The palate displays fresh, tropical fruit salad flavours with a delicate creamy texture. The addition of French oak adds a subtle complexity and a full rounded finish.
Curious Shiraz is deep purple (smoke on the water?) in colour, with an intense aroma of dark fruits and spice, it expresses true varietal character. With subtly integrated American Oak balanced with ripe plums and blackberries, this wine has excellent structure and length. Secondary aromas of chocolate and spice add intrigue and complexity to the wine with soft tannins creating a supple and smooth wine with impressive length.
