Verdelho - This wine is medium straw in colour with green tinges, suggesting freshness and youth, but also richness of flavour. On the nose are aromas of tropical pineapple, passionfruit and ripe melon – a veritable fruit salad. The palate is equally reminiscent of a range of tropical fruits with a zesty, sherbet-like acidity and a clean citrus finish. Unoaked, the wine is crisp and refreshing and perfect for lazy lunches and sprightly dinners where good wine is a must with great friends and wonderful cooking. Enjoy this all year round as the perfect accompaniment t warm days and long alfresco lunches.
Moscato - With a focus on traditional winemaking craftwork and state-of-the-art technology, the McPherson wines are designed to be easy-drinking, fruit driven styles with generous mouth-filling flavours. The 2009 Moscato is pale blush pink in colour with a light spritz to add a tingle on the palate. Aromas of rose petals, musk and floral’s dominate the bouquet, whilst the palate bewilders with lovely thick sweetness and a crisp acid finish. This wine is perfectly balanced with lovely length and simple fruit flavours. This wine is best consumed in its youth.
