The colour is a bright crimson with purple hues. A delightful mix of dark chocolate and plums with licorice, blackberries and leather spice on the nose. The palate is medium to full bodied with fruit flavours of mulberries and dark cherries along with mocha and star anise. A great drinking wine, superb with all food, just sublime with fruits and good cheese, the sweet fruit flavours are balanced by savoury ripe tannins which lead to a cool, long finish, leaving flavours of dark chocolate and spice.
