Excellent wine, clean and clear, light dusty tannins like the Coonawarra - this is simply beautifully developed and superbly satisfying regional Cabernet Sauvignon that displays rich varietal characters with a cassis and chocolate nose with smudges of violets and dark all spice. The palate is a broad now with some years behind it, a satisfying rich mouthful - opulent length and depth immediately ticks all the right boxes and then the wine simply sets and lingers for ages. Cabernet needs time to reach its full potential and this wine has the best of al worlds with a great vintage form 2009 and resplendid depth of fruit weight and tannins.
