Just what you have been awaiting to load into the cellar for the celebrations ahead. From one of the best vintages around from Barossa here we have stunning value of a smashing 14.7% Shiraz made by one of Australias most outstanding 5 Star Haliday rated wineries.
Dark purple, dense crimson in colour this ominous wine broods while it waits for you to unleash the beast within. Your senses are heightened with uplifting notes of black fruits, dark plums and chocolate with hints of blackberry and spice. Now for the test! The palate exudes black fruits, with dark chocolate and mocha notes. Excellent combination Oak treatment has provided fine tannins with good acid balance and persistent flavour all the way to the next sip. This is my pick of the week!
