Argentinean Malbec all the way from the Tupungato (West Valley) region, where this tantalising grape grows in pristine vineyards 1km above sea level.
This superb Malbec is deep dark violet in colour and offers powerful aromas of blackstone fruit and notes of chocolate. Blackberry and black currant fruit flavours with a touch of sweet spice, lead into a long lingering finish with ripe velvety tannins.
Amazing black cherry aromas first greet you, followed by luscious coffee/mocha tones. The palate is full of rich, spicy plums and blue & black berries. A lovely variety that really appreciates some air as it just kept getting better and better as the bottle became emptier! (taster - MM)
