Pale straw-green in appearance, this vintage is a spritzy, aromatic wine with plenty of lush fruit. Punchy with lemon and tart pink grapefruit aromas emerge from the nose of this lip smacking Savvy B, followed by nectarine and lemongrass tones. The palate is fresh and focused with ripe citrus, stonefruit, fennel and mineral notes. Citrus acidity gives way to a long finish with mineral aftertaste.

It is 30 years since the inception of Cloudy Bay. The release of Cloudy Bay Sauvignon Blanc 2015 marks the 31st vintage of this remarkable wine. This release is as exciting to the winemaking team as was the first vintage was in 1985.
