This is it folks, simply put, a true Classic!
Pale lemon, green hint, brilliant bouquet - fresh and vibrant aromatics with intense aromas of gooseberry, melon and capsicum. Palate - Mouth filling with a textural and full bodied palate. Finely balanced with appealing fresh fruits and racy acidity. Great concentration and complexity with good length and a clean crisp finish. Last vintage scooped all the gold and best white wines medals around and here is another stunning example ready to do the same.
Late last year the wine won a gold medal in the Royal Hobart Wine Show. It was also selected by British Airways Business Class - the first NZ Sauvignon Blanc ever to be poured in Business Class by BA. On the other side of the world, the wine has also been listed in the Hilton Hotel chain throughout China - its the only NZ wine on their list.
“Rich, ripe style with mouthfilling body and excellent depth of passionfruit and lime flavours.
Enjoyed by all judges.” - Winestate Issue 33 Vol 2 March/April 2010 4 Stars.
“A zippy Marlborough sauvignon blanc that demonstrates classically pristine New Zealand varietal character worthy of a wine selling for dollars more. It opens with an aroma of blackcurrant, a whisper of passionfruit, leafy and green-fruit notes. It tastes fruity with clean flavours, mouth-watering balance and a long tangy finish." - The Age - Epicure - 2.2.10 4 Stars.
