Colour: Rich, dark plum red.
Palate: This lovely textured, full-flavored wine has balanced fruit character, acid and subtle tannin dryness; all persisting through a long, lingering finish
Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Merlot from the Yin Barun vineyard in north east Victoria; Merlot from the Gralaine vineyard near Geelong and Petit Verdot from Colbinabbin Estate at Heathcote.
The influence of our young French winemaking team is most obvious in this wine. Careful selection and blending has produced a classic food wine which has a definite ‘Aussie’ bold and lively presence, yet it retains the structure and sophistication of the style’s Bordeaux origins.
This unique brand displays a European eccentricity while being distinctly Australian; that is left of centre without being intimidating.
