Bethany Old Vine Grenache 2006 |
| |
Made from 100% Grenache grapes grown on some of the Barossa's oldest bush vines, hand-pruned and hand-picked, it is unusually deep in colour for a pure Grenache. The nose is warm and spicy with red berry fruit aromas and these are continued on in the rich, well textured palate and the long soft tannin finish. All in all a typical harmonious Barossa style, which will go well with roasted pork with dumplings or lambs fry and bacon. We recommend decanting for two or three hours before serving.
