A rich juicy palate showing complex layers and savoury flavours of dark fruits, cherries with some earthy undertones, spice and a cedary oak finish. This is balanced by firm acid and fine grained tannins which gives the wine overall length and intensity. Most people ask me for a pinot with some Umph, not light strawberry and this little monster is exactly that.
