This wine is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot with portions of Malbec and Petit Verdot adding complexity. It has a perfumed nose of redcurrant, violets and cloves. The palate is seamless, displaying superb fruit intensity with fine tannins supporting a long elegant structure. Aged in French oak for twelve months.

Jeremy Gordon takes a hands on approach to all things at his winery and the results are for everyone to see. Already a multi award-winner, the Amelia Park Cabernet Merlot is a seamless wine that is wonderfully medium-bodied with a fine acid backbone that simply sings from beginning to end.

Matured in French oak for 12 months. The varieties are locked in combat (part due to oak) and you have to wait for the blackcurrant and redcurrant promised by the bouquet to resonate, mulberry adding its weight.
Ray Jordan - 93 Points
This blend of cabernet and merlot really nails the style for medium-term cellaring, totally pleasing red wine. Good depth of fruit supported with slightly grainy tannin and a lick of oak. The palate is so well balanced with the blackcurrant and fruit satsuma plum flavours bursting through to the long finish.
