Exploding with small vineyard complexity. All the Koltz releases are open fermented and basket pressed. Koltz practices extended maceration techniques and matures their reds in mainly French oak for a lavish eighteen months. Dog Day is a savoury red which combines the richness of Shiraz with the complexing characters and fine tannins provided by co-fermenting with Viognier. Buy it, drink it, believe it ....fantastic value and feel lucky to get some.
