What an amazing region in Western Australia this is. Producing premium wine from excellent fruit is the key and these wines show an abundance of tightly packed fruit with wonderful length and balance arising from perfect conditions during the season.
Shiraz with deep dark brooding colour, black cool climate pepper and some almost Rutherglen notes and earthiness provide the backdrop for this wine. The palate is awash with spicy blackberry and mocha and has wonderful oak which now combines and melds with the Shiraz together forming a really lovely wine and a steal at this price without the label. Enjoy and let your mates know as it won't last for long at this price!
