95% Shiraz with just a drop of Sangiovese. This is great to have in the inventory come barbecue season
Deep red with flecks of magenta, plenty of bold dark fruits and spice tinged berries on the nose. The palate has juicy sweetness and more rich red fruit. Light tannins from the Sangiovese make for a soft finish. Recommended with anything from roast lamb through to slow cooked beef stew.

2012 Vintage
87 Points - James Halliday, Australian Wine Companion "Bright, light colour; a light-bodied shiraz with savoury/spicy characters to the fore, and a hint of tannins. Pasta and pizza come to mind."
86 Points - Campbell Mattinson, The Wine Front "Affordable red with a peppery edge. Indeed it generally has a cool climate signature. It tastes of plums and dark cherries with gently bitter edges. Spice and autumn leaf notes make an appearance. Gummy, smooth-enough texture. It doesn’t drink like a more expensive red but it does drink like a good version of red at this price level. Has some iodine-like overtones. Not bad at all."
