Well lets see now! Over 150 Years and still going strong! Now that is a good sign and with wines like these you cannot imagine the wine drinking customers of the world could want for more. Last years vintage of this wine was an absolute classic and this early picked vintage has produced in your face vibrant dark purple demonic hues. The nose is clear, bright and reeks of Heathcote regionality being laden with spice and all white pepper. Lovely long lip smacking clean rich fruit as usual and wonderful long engaging palate most appropriate due to the balanced levels of acid for food and just plain footy and lamb shanks all winter long. Has not gone out yet and scooped the pools for medals but give it a month or three and we should see another terrific stable mate to its ancestors by vintage. Cheers!
