Bodegas Altanza Lealtanza Reserva 2001 |
| |
|
|
Dark crimson red. Complex, seductive nose of blackberries, spices and tobacco. Silky, meaty, a classic Reserva at its best. Elegant, complex flavours and a good structure. Very food-friendly. It will gain in complexity with time, though now it offers a fruity mouthful.
Bodegas Altanza -located in Fuenmayor, at the heart of Upper Rioja- is surrounded by tempranillo vineyards. It is thus sited in one of the most fertile and privileged lands of the Denomination/ Apellation of Origin Rioja.
The winery –its premises and gardens– is conceived, designed and built with the same heart as is put into its winemaking. We have used the noblest materials for its construction, striving always to blend tradition and modernity.
This philosophy is easily noticed as soon as one takes a glance at the exterior appearance, but also at the beauty and functionality of the interiors –even the wines show a balance between oak and fruit.
