About the Producer

In 2013 the business was sold to the Judd Family and a new era was ushered in at Buller Wines. The Judd Family are a well-known local family with extensive roots in the North East and continue the tradition of Buller Wines being a strong local family enterprise.

Gerald and Mary Judd are hands on in the business and have overseen significant new investment in the cellar, storage, operations and importantly the vineyards across the entire operation.

Dave Whyte continues in his role as Head Winemaker and his enthusiasm for quality wines is paramount as the range has expanded. Dave is also overseeing a full restoration of the vineyards to ensure that as Buller Wines moves towards its centenary the tradition of excellent wines continues.
