|
|
50% Cabernet Sauvignon 30% Merlot 20% Cabernet Franc.
A dark cherry colour with fine and elegant bubbles. Intense aromas of luscious dark berry fruit. A rich and balanced palate of ripe red fruit flavours including cherries and raspberries, with hints of cedar and cocoa. The complete mouthfill is followed by a long, dry, fruity finish. A second glass is irresistible!
A full-bodied red fizz with complexities of raspberries, blackberries and a hint of aniseed. The Bee’s Knees is the perfect party starter and is sure to impress on all other epicurean occasions.
Established in 1974 by Peter Rymill, great grandson of John Riddoch, the founder of Coonawarra, Rymill’s distinctive winery lies in the heart of this famous region. Grapes grown exclusively in its own Coonawarra vineyards reflect the perfect combination of unique terra rossa soil and ideal cool climate for which the district is renowned. Winemaker Sandrine Gimon works with vines between 15 and 35 years of age, which allow her to make wines of substance and character.
Wine of the Month - "...This is a more elegant style of sparkling red made from Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc. The blend of these three varieties gives the wine complexity and there is a lovely dryness to the finish..." - Toni Paterson, Wine Diva, June 2006.
