Quinta do Pégo Late Bottled Vintage 2005 is the result of the careful selection of red grapes from the old vineyards of Quinta do Pégo. The main red varieties are Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinto Cão and Tinta Roriz. With deep red colour, this wine is characterized by some floral notes, fresh aromas of ripe red fruits, as blackberry and some mineral notes. In the mouth it has very good structure, flavours of red fruits, with silk tannins matching together in a very strong and elegant finish. This Late Bottled Vintage can compete with many Vintage Ports on the market. Enjoy Quinta do Pégo along with cheese, chocolate and candied fruit or as an “after-taste-dinner”. Served at temperature between 10 C til 12 C.
