Appearance Pale straw with green hues.
Nose Lifted nose of nectarine, white flowers fruit, grapefruit, wet stone and flint.
Palate A rich entry filled with white flowers, stone fruit and preserved lemon gives way to subtle struck match all tightly bound with a fine lemon citrus acidity. The finish is long, linear and focussed with echoes back to preserved lemon.
Fruit for this wine was sourced from the red volcanic soils of Seville (51%) and Gladysdale (35%) with the balance coming from the grey loams of Coldstream (14%). All grapes were handpicked and whole bunch pressed retaining all grape solids.
