Chalk Hill Moscato 2011 |
| |
|
|
The balance between the low alcohol, natural fruit sweetness and the lifted aromatics in this wine, came with its challenges. Parcels of fruit are harvested at different times and the fermentation was closely monitored to ensure we bottle the wine at its aromatic peak. This wine is a gourmandise!
The Chalk Hill Moscato is the perfect aperitif, and will also compliment grilled fish and a wide range of delicious desserts. It also forms the base for some exciting cocktails to enjoy on any occassion!
Colour: Bright pale yellow with green hues.
Aromatics: Honeysuckle and freshly cut citrus fruit, combine with floral notes and a hint of apricot.
Palate: Sweet dried apricot and peaches with a lifted candied citrus peel. A clean, textural wine with a refreshing finish.
Cellaring: Enjoy now
