100% Viognier.
Brilliant clear golden yellow in colour. Intensely flowery (violets), and fruity (apricot, peaches and citrus) on the nose. The palate is fresh and round. Rich, unctuous and full bodied. Overall the wine is harmonious with light acidity and round fleshy fruits. Delicate and elegant.
'“This wine posses a penetrating fragrance of flowers, white peaches, apricot and honey. Medium bodied with a decent acidity, and copious quantities of fresh, lively fruity, this vintage is delicate, elegant and delicious drinking...' - K. STEVENS M.W.
88/100 - "A product of a warmer year, and it shows, with its fairly full ripe flavours and aromas. Fragrant gingery apricot and orange-blossom aromas typical of viognier. Has a creamy orange zest palate structure with a little oak in play. Gets about one-third new oak for 10 months, part of which is declassified La Doriane." - Ray Jordan, The West Australian, 29 August 2009.
