Colour: Straw with light golden hues.
Aroma: Intense floral and tropical aromas, with citrus and lemon characters. Some subtle undertones of apple blossom and lime are also prevalent.
Palate: A rich, fresh and round palate full of tropical fruit juice is balanced by clean acidity which provides length and balance to this style.
Vinificationand Maturation: Once the grapes reached their optimum maturity level they were harvested in the cool of the night and promptly delivered to the winery. The grapes were crushed into McWilliam’s drainers where the premium free-run juice was separated from the skins. This juice was then delicately handled through the juice clarification and fermentation stages, all the time being kept separate to allow for the best possible blending options. Once fermentation and clarification was complete, a blend was composed before filtration and bottling under screw cap to preserve the aromatic fruit flavours and aromas.
