Hungerford Hill Pinot Gris 2008 |
| |
|
|
Pinot Gris is a winter white specialty, and the Hungerford Hill is a tasty example of all that can be good about the lighter grapes in the darker months.
A ripe, fruit driven style that features the bold flavours of the variety balanced with a complete spectrum of fruit acids. The subtlety of yeast lees contact adds complexity to the wine.
Gold colouring with bronze hues. Has aromas of pear, red apple, tropical fruit and hints of baked bread. A full bodied white wine with juicy mid palate flavour. The palate shows terrific volume and persistence of clean, crisp fruit.
