Now we are getting a bit more serious here with Grampian Pinto Gris, in a truly French style. No dilute wishy, washy dry white here rather a richer and wholesome wine, just like the team at Cracka! But seriously this screams out for some food – a proper winter lunch with bread, salad and some dried meats. Delicious.
Past Accolades and Awards:
James Halliday: 94 Exceptionally vibrant and zesty, with energy and drive seldom encountered in the variety; has crunchy nashi pear fruit and citrussy/ tangy acidity.
Nick Stock: 90 A little pastry and poached apple and pear in the mix here; restrained and lightly floral. The palate has a light herbal edge and shows smooth texture, low acid, neat flow and good balance to boot.
