Rielsing is also a building block on which Chrismont’s reputation stands today, being some of the first vines planted by Arnie and Arnaldo Pizzini in the early 80’s.

The fruit is harvested with good natural acid levels. The Riesling grapes are pressed gently and most of the juice is handled reductively to preserve delicate fruit flavours. Some batches of juice are handled oxidatively to help reduce tannins and to add another dimension to the final wine. The juice is fermented cool in stainless steel to preserve fruit flavours before being fined, filtered, and bottled.
