Another textbook vintage in the Clare Valley for Riesling. The mostly cool and dry conditions leading up to and during the harvest, promoting slow ripening, high natural acid retention and classic ageing potential.

Our 2013 Mort’s Reserve Riesling is a small blend of two unique vineyards, the higher elevated Khileyre site and the low yielding Walton’s vineyard, both strongly identifiable as from the Watervale district of the Clare Valley.

Appearance Brilliant in clarity, pale straw in colour with youthful green tints.



Nose Lively notes of lemons, fresh citrus and garden perfumes overwhelm the nose, impressively overt yet still sublimely focused.

Palate A riot of citrus peel, lemon zest and lively natural acidity come together on the palate. A true reserve styled experience, made to enjoy now or put down in the cellar for added complexity and interest.
