Mount Langi Ghiran The Gap Late Harvest Riesling 2004 |

Just a little touch of perfection and golden colour can make all the difference! Here ae may have simply the perfect sweet style late harvest dessert wine that simply denotes the end of dinner and the start of new courses of cheese and sweets! FHB ( Family hold Back) on this one as once you open a bottle it is amazing just how moorish it is and how quickly a top up is demanded by one and all.
Here we go then! Golden luminescent colour, heady honey suckle notes with a wonderful rich engaging palate fill of the mouth. LIke hot gold it runs over the tongue and searches new pockets to infiltrate and warm and quite simply fulfill all your desires in a sip. Riesling is not as heavy and syrupy as the often used Semillon and therefore provides more interesting aromatics and fruit flavour rather than just concentrated treacly viscous syrup. You be the judge , and I will be judged on my comments! ENJOY.
