Merlot Madness! This is quite a drop. I love the rich plummy flavour in it, yet they aren't so overbearing as to take away from the beatiful vanillin oak and yummy chocolate flavours you normally find in an expensive Merlot at $26.00 in the shops.
This wine is gorgeously deep red with ominus purple hues and has aromas of spicy cherry and the background of smoky vanilla oak. The palate displays cherryskins, plum and chocolate flavours. A terrific long mouth fill provides an excellent finish. Ideal accompaniment to ripe cheeses, spicy brunswick street authentic sausage pasta and briased red meat dishes like Osso Bucco, lamb shanks with red cabbage.
An absolute steal at this price! Fill your cellar and laugh your way to the table every night.
