It's definitely Pinot Season! We have been inundated with orders and sold hundreds of cases of brilliant Pinot Noir carefully selected to show case the best of the bigger styles and tending away from the innocuous 'Strawberry Blonds'. These tremendous pre-spring warm afternoons followed by cooler evenings deserve a Pinot Noir of this caliber. A big,rich earthy nose reminiscent of the old farm barnyard, backed by a delicious, fuller-bodied savoury flavours lingering on the palate with a warm grip. Backed up with a bit of spice this wine really has some tremendous length to it. A lingering perfectly balanced acidity makes this one an absolute winner for me. Stoke the fire, rub your hands, roast some duck and watch out for the delivery as a bottle disappears leaving only a very satisfied smile!
