Hardys Oomoo Cabernet Sauvignon 2008 |

Deep burgundy red with bright hues, this wine displays cinnamon and cardamon spice with hints of tobacco leaf and char. The bouquet is ripe and complex, with subtle French oak spice and dark fruit cake aromas. With a rich, full and rounded palate, this wine shows soft fruit flavours of plum, dark cherry and dried fig, complimented by lively acid balance which leads into a soft-mouth feel with lingering flavour.
Hardys Oomoo was one of the first wines produced by Thomas Hardy at his original Bankside winery. Throughout the late 1800s and early 1900s it was Hardy’s most recognisable label. To celebrate and mark Hardys 150th Anniversary in 2003, Oomoo was revived as a classic McLaren Vale Shiraz. Today, Oomoo showcases the premium regions of South Australia. Every wine is a true reflection of the variety and the region.
