This wine is a lovely big, juicy statement from a terrific wine growing region, where you can expect wines, especially Cabernet Sauvignon to exceed expectations. You will be immediately captivated by dark lifted berry fruits, some well-infused oak, and a lovely dark “bull’s blood” red colour that stirs the loins in anticipation. The wine is at first well developed and carries some excellent weight on the way through but there is a second explosion of character as the dark fruits meld together and provide a really wonderful intoxicating ripe Cabernet with the fruit, acid and oak marry together as beautifully as a seductive siren, calling you to sip again and again.
Obviously from a vintage with good sun and coaxing maritime microclimate you really are going to be enjoying a superb Cabernet here and one that will continue to develop with some cellaring.
