Tisdall Henry's Crossing Cabernet Sauvignon 2009 |
| |
|
|
Cabernet Sauvignon (90%), Merlot (10%).
Tisdall “Henry’s Crossing” range is a tribute to Henry Hopwood, founder of Echuca in 1854 and his establishment of a punt (ferry) across the great Murray River at the point of where the town of Echuca now lies. Grapes have been sourced from Tisdall’s Rosbercon Vineyard, a single vineyard site that has some of the oldest plantings of Cabernet Sauvignon in the region.
The king of red grape varieties, Cabernet Sauvignon, shows its regal head in this delicious wine from an equally delicious vintage. Flavours & aromas of cassis, cigar box and mulberries are the hallmarks of this variety and show up well in this succulent wine. Oak seasoning helps to underpin the structure and provide balance. A wine for all occasions – Enjoy!
