Tisdall Henry's Crossing Shiraz 2009 |
| |
|
|
This Shiraz boasts rich and ripe plum and mulberry fruit aromas. The palate that follows is full and flavoursome with rich density and weight synonymous with this grape variety. Soft, supple tannins underpin the aromas to give balance and flavour length which make it an easy match with any situation.
Tisdall “Henry’s Crossing” range is a tribute to Henry Hopwood, founder of Echuca in 1854 and his establishment of a punt (ferry) across the great Murray River at the point of where the town of Echuca now lies. Grapes have been sourced from Tisdall’s Rosbercon Vineyard, a single vineyard site that has some of the oldest plantings of Cabernet Sauvignon in the region.
Shiraz (95%), Merlot (5%).
