A big juicy, nicely made wine from one of the Big Boys for the export market and meant to really excite the European drinker into a frenzy; no wonder at this price and this amazing quality!
The wine displays a deep attractive red colour with youthful purple hues. Intense typical Shiraz notes of spice and cloves with plum and red berries in abundance.
Rich, full bodied and has a good tannin back bone with the oak providing complexity and flavour length. Balanced with good concentration of fruit and spice with coconut and a dried berry complexity lingering. There is a lifted clean fresh fruit finish that provides structure and form to the overall wine.

Enjoy with rare garlic herbed rib eye steak, or richly flavoured game including venison and succulent marinated kangaroo steak.
Sourced from a selection of Australian vineyards the winemaker has selected parcels of Shiraz, Mouvedre fruit showing exceptional depth and intensity of flavour that without the aid of oak maturation will show exceptional flavour and drinkability.
The grapes were harvested during the cool of night at optimum ripeness. After crushing and pressing, after fermentation temperatures were carefully controlled at around 20-28°C in stainless steel vessels. The wine was then allowed to settle before individual parcels were blended and bottled.
