Hot off the press! Halliday rates these guys a perfect 5 star winery.
The grapes were sourced from the steep slopes of Chalk Hill’s Wits’ End vineyard in the heart of McLaren Vale, South Australia.
Colour: Vibrant Crimson Red.
Aromatics: A bouquet of red and black berry fruits with floral basket notes.
Palate: Full yet restrained, with lovely crunchy red currant and wild blackberry fruit. Woven together with spice and floral notes. The finish is long and intense with fine fruit tannin lingering.
Cellaring: The wine will benefit from decanting and cellar exceptionally well due to its excellent structure.
