*Bottle image is of the Georges Duboeuf Sauvignon Blanc.
Although it is a dry white wine it is at the same time rich and full, soft on the palate with the typical flavours of this grape variety. The nose is complex with mineral notes, with ripe peach and grapefruit aromas, lemon, blue bonnets and anis. The palate is fresh and mineral. It has a good balance and a very elegant finish.
Duboeuf is a name synonymous with top quality Beaujolais, so much so that Georges Duboeuf has been described as "Le Roi de Beaujolais" (The King of Beaujolais). The wines have great individuality and drinkability. The fresh vibrant flavours of Beaujolais Villages are perfect for our climate and our cuisine. The famous 'crus' of Beaujolais offer wines of different terriors that can age gracefully. Most importantly, Beaujolais is about the unpretentious enjoyment of wine and of life.
