If the whispers are anything to go by, 2010 promises to be one the great Australian wine vintages.
The wine is a wonderful example of Clare Valley Riesling, showing lifted citrus fruit and distinct Watervale floral and perfume.
On the palate it displays intense lemons and limes, and the persistent fruit flavour is balanced by a refreshing mineral acidity. This wine can be enjoyed in its youth for its wonderful purity and intensity of flavours. In addition it will also reward the patient developing complex honey and toasty characters over the next decade.
