Bright in appearance with the classic green tinges of well handled Riesling fruit. On the nose there are lifted lime notes with some background pear character. There are also some chalky tones and a hint of apples that show mainly on the palate. It is a dry style that has the acid to cut through quite rich foods.
It has shown much more of a wonderfully engaging lemony character as it has aged and developed that intoxicating toastiness too. The acid is still holding the wine together quite nicely and it’s a wine that will appeal to people who like aged Riesling.
