I love the region of Eden Valley as it continues to develop as a superior regional terroir for very smart Riesling.
This Riesling has the required delicate lighter yellow tones with alluring flashes of seductive green hues. Upfront it provides a distinct mineral core strength alongside a vibrant lemon and lime aromatic palate with rich vignettes of jasmine and orange blossom. The delicate aromatics follow onto the palate which is dominated by the racy citrus tang of lime and grapefruit with subtle hints of crushed herbs and fragrant petals. A perfect partner to fresh scallops on the skillet with some lemon grass or coriander to join the party. Enjoy it lightly chilled while young & crisp although I would have to say this is another Riesling for the cellar and provided some time locked safely away from your grubby little hands will develop like the true multidimensional animal it is!
The spirit and passion of the Black Bull comes to life in this exciting cool climate Riesling. It’s racy and invigorating with refreshing tangy acidity and a steely dry finish. Its power and intensity is balanced by the delicate nuance of fragrant petals and herbs providing a degree of elegance and sophistication.
Eden Valley is an outstanding region for this variety. The cool climate conditions combined with gentle hand crafted winemaking retain the delicate aromatic esters and subtle flavour notes that make this dry Riesling so alluring and seductive.
From the brilliant yellow green hue, the lemon, lime and honeysuckle aroma to the zesty citrus and crushed herb palate it displays a vibrant, clean, fresh and enticing personality. A wonderfully seductive wine, enjoy it with fresh seafood, crisp green salads or lively Asian dishes.
