Hungerford Hill has been rated as a 5 Star winery by James Halliday in the 2008 Australian Wine Companion, the top guide to wineries and wine in Australia. The 5 star rating recognises Hungerford Hill as an "outstanding winery capapable of producing wines of very high quality."
