Xanadu Semillon 2002 (Margaret River, WA)
Don't Pay $27.00 / bottle - Now $10.99/ bottle - WBW Rating 93/100

Another in a great line of premium back vintage releases we have for you.
The really smart thing about this wine is that it starts out all vibrant and fresh, the bouquet offering lively fruit aromas of quince, citrus fruits and dried herbs. Following some rest and maturation the varietal starts to develop a second life and the barrel maturation has added further complexity with restrained, toasty oak characters and hints of roasted cashews. The palate is generous and refined offering ripe pear and fresh grapefruit flavours with underlying bready/nutty characteristics. Beautifully structured, the fruit is balanced by crisp, integrated acidity, layered with a subtle creamy texture. You don't have to just love Semillon with age to enjoy this monster as it speaks to all drinkers on the level of quality hand picked fruit with loads of integrity and all the hard cellaring work has been done for you!

Mud House Sauvignon Blanc 2007 (Marlborough, NZ)
Don't Pay $20.00 / bottle - Now $16.50/ bottle - WBW Rating 94/100

Top 100 & Blue Gold @ SIWC, Top In Class Royal Hobart, Gold at Royal Easter Wine Awards, they go on and on!
My Favourite TV Chef is listing this in the UK and I think that is a great thing. As you would expect, delightful pale straw colour with a nose of lifted herbs, currants, nettles, lime and minerals with underlying guava and passionfruit, all of which are the hallmarks of the region. A dry crisp wine with typical Marlborough flavours of guava, currants, minerals, lime and passionfruit. Rich in mouth feel, the mouth-watering acidity leads to a long lingering finish.
A true delight that I feel privileged to offer you.

Toolangi Cabernet 2003 (Yarra Valley, VIC)
Don't Pay $22.00 / bottle - Now $9.99/ bottle - WBW Rating 92/100

5 stars 5 Star Halliday Winery - Last cases on the floor now
STOP PRESS:
From the award winning Toolangi Vineyards Estate, this vineyard is definitely on the move. The fruit for this wine was hand picked from the Dixon's Creek Vineyard in the Yarra Valley. The colour is perfectly bright, vibrant & strong with a good blast of aromatic cool climate Cabernet followed up with well ripened fruit tending enjoyably a bit more to chocolate and fine tannin coco, balancing well with structural green tinges. In a year from the Valley that was warm and dry, low yields provided a situation for the of quality Cabernet. This Cabernet was aged in French oak for 18 months so there is no hint of green stalkiness. Just good structure and relaxed tannins. The wine was made by Trevor Mast at Mt Langi Ghiran and really at this price goes a long long way as a very solid addition to the kitchen wine cellar as a ripper drink every day of the week.

Chads Creek Pinot 2004
Don't Pay $20.00 / bottle - Now $6.99/ bottle - WBW Rating 91/100

LAST CASES INSTORE NOW - HURRY!
This absolutely yummy 2004 Pinot Noir exhibits rich, strawberry forest fruit flavours, delicately balanced acidity and a silky tannin finish. The colour here is off brick red and it is the nose that really stimulates the juices and the first sip lends you to let out a Ooh Ah!
Slightly perfumed French oak, complements subtle blackcurrant flavours and elegant floral notes. A pleasant nose of strawberry with rhubarb characters and a cinnamon aftertaste. This wine will satisfy those who prefer a light-medium bodied Pinot Noir. Great drinking now but will develop more complex flavours in the bottle.

Quarry Road Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2007 (Marlborough, New Zealand)
Quarry Road Marlborough Sauv Blanc
Don't Pay $20.00 / bottle - Now $10.99/ bottle - WBW Rating 93/100

Well here we are with a ripper of a multi award winning wine in both Australia and NZ taking out Double Medals and the all important Blue Gold!
I have sourced this wine in such large quantities that the price is below $11 flat out around Australia and will sell like hotcakes. This is the fabulous 2007 vintage and it is a ripper! Hurry before this container runs dry! A prima donna of a Sauvignon Blanc! All grassy and decidedly elegant Sauvignon Blanc style with the expected aromatic up front notes of fresh a New Zealand Style. A fresh, dry, crisp nose with some mild, floral aromatics and a touch of citrus. A lovely mouth feel here with impact and length and is fine and generous, with intense fruit flavours. The mid-palate has good weight and a lovely passage of delicate finished weight both crisply citric and singularly fine. Very classy wine, and a delight to offer.

Zilzie Estate Shiraz 2006 (South Eastern Australia)
Don't Pay $17.00 / bottle - Now $13.99/ bottle - WBW Rating 95/100

Those of you in the know have been hoarding this away like squirrels for the Winter. If you haven't tried this yet, don't miss out!
Various parcels of Shiraz came together to make the 2006 wine, these included a wide range of regions from Swan Hill up to the Barossa and Eden Valleys then back to Sunraysia. Also included with some of these Shiraz parcels some Viognier skins for co-fermentation. Fermentation was conducted on skins over a seven to ten day period to maximize fruit and enhance tannin structure and mouth-feel. Some of the new wines were pressed early, direct to barrique for barrel fermentation. All wines underwent complete malo lactic fermentation in tank or barrel and were matured in a range of new to five year old American and French barriques. The finished wine was aged for a further 12 months in barriques prior to blending, filtration then bottling.

Alexander Park Cabernet Sauvignon 2004 (Goulburn Valley, VIC)
Don't Pay $24.00 / bottle - Now $9.99/ bottle - WBW Rating 92/100

Like an old faithful friend I keep turning to this wine. It is truly sensational & never lets me down!
From the backyard barbeque to the romantic candle-lit dinner and all occasions in between. Bold, deep crimson, huge licks of luscious concentrated blackcurrant flavours and smooth silky sweet tannins combine to reflect Cabernet Sauvignon moving towards perfection with some time to integrate in the bottle! Aromas of plum and forest berry fruits with cassis and savoury wood spices. Blackcurrant mid-palate opulence follows from up front ripe berry and plum fruits. Complementary savoury oak is enveloped by the rich fruit finish. Careful cellaring will result in added complexity. The wine has elegance and finesse.

Hungerford Hill RED Shiraz 2006 (South Eastern Australia)
Don't Pay $18.00 / bottle - Now $9.99/ bottle - WBW Rating 90/100

As Goldilocks said, "This one is just right!"
Mostly cool climate grapes here from Orange NSW which produces some very smart fruit. This wine is no exception and is vibrant, crimson red, full-bodied soft fruit flavours with ripe sweet tannins and a long dry finish. Wine like this 'RED' style is designed to complement today’s lifestyle. It is fresh, lively, easy going and challenges the average. This Shiraz is designed for everyday drinking and is an excellent example of this style. The full-bodied palate has softer more mellow fruit flavours, with ripe sweet tannins and a long satisfying finish. Designed for drinking young, this wine can be enjoyed with a variety of red meat dishes or equally enjoyable on its own with the partner of your choice!

Clover Hill Sparkling 2004 (Pipers River, TAS)
Don't Pay $42.00 / bottle - Now $33.99/ bottle - WBW Rating 94/100

Arguably I know, but I do consider this to be one of the best we produce and great value for money! Champagne in colour with a persistent fine bead and gentle foaming mousse, this exquisite bubbly has a beautiful bouquet of peaches, pears and toasted almond characters. The palate displays an elegant integration of citrus and bread dough, an underlying creamy complexity with exceptional length and lasting flavours.
I particularly enjoy the complexity of this sparkling as it drinks well with or without food and always raises an eyebrow of interest as to "How can they afford French?"
Drink well and enjoy!

d'Arenberg Galvo Garage Red 2006 (McLaren Vale, SA)
Don't Pay $32.00 / bottle - Now $23.99/ bottle - WBW Rating 94/100

The wine’s appearance is noticeably deep and dark, suggesting a complex full-bodied, oak matured wine. The aromas are very classic Cabernet with notes of exotic dark plums, mulberry, blackcurrants, fragrant cassis and an underlying mix of dark chocolate, cherries, cured meats and spiced violets. Green runner-bean and fine-toasted French oak, while cedar notes come through as the wine opens. The palate is ripe and has an impressive elegance upon entry and then you are struck with the overwhelming complexity and presence. Extremely juicy with a wonderful deep richness and structure. A mix of pure fruit with edges of exotic notes, immense structure and length with mineral acidity and fine lacy tannins directing the fruit. 2006 vintage is regarded as one of the largest vintages ever despite starting and finishing early.
